Familia Furlotti, with four generations of winemakers, is dedicated to crafting wines that embody the character of their land and the people who work it. Founded by Ángel Furlotti, an Italian immigrant who became known as the "king of the vineyards" in Mendoza, the winery has a long history of respecting the terroir and the traditions of viticulture.
Today, under the leadership of Gabriela Furlotti, the family continues to produce elegant wines that reflect the unique identity of their vineyards, using agroecological practices to ensure the health of the soil and community.
The Furlotti family remains committed to preserving the legacy of their ancestors while embracing the art and harmony of winemaking.
Malbec Vintage 2019
The Familia Furlotti Malbec embodies balance and elegance, revealing a velvety blood-red hue in the glass. Its captivating aroma combines red currant, pomegranate, wild raspberries, blackberry, and plum, accented by purple flowers and a hint of peppery spice.
On the palate, this wine is impeccably balanced, showcasing fresh red berry flavours, savoury acidity, and a plush, lingering finish. While delightful on its own, it pairs beautifully with dishes like grilled flank steak with chimichurri, caramelized beef short ribs, or roasted wild duck breast with cherry chutney.
Semillon Vintage 2023
This medium bodied, dry Semillon has a golden staw hue. Aromas of roasted pear, apple and elderflower on the nose. Lemon preserve and honeysuckle on the palate with a long delicious finish. Good structure and well balanced acidity round out this complex wine. Pair with steamed mussles, other seafood dished or anything with a bit of sweet heat.
